Who we are
XH Media is the photography and video business of Xavier Hamilton, based in London. For anything about your personal information, contact us at info@xhmedia.co.uk or on 07985 142 219.
What we collect through this website
When you send a booking enquiry or a message, we receive the details you enter:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
- details of your event: the date, the service you need, the venue and anything else you tell us.
We also receive the page you sent the form from and your internet (IP) address, which we use only to protect the form from spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, check availability, prepare a quote and, if you book, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing without your consent.
Where it is kept
Enquiries are delivered to our business enquiry inbox and email. The website is hosted by Vercel. These providers process data on our behalf under contract and may store it in the UK, the European Economic Area or the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
If you don't go on to book, we delete enquiry details once they are no longer needed, and in any case within two years. If you book, we keep the information needed to provide our services and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
Photographs and client galleries
We only publish photographs on this website with the permission of the client and, where appropriate, the people in them. If you appear in a photograph here and would like it removed, contact us and we will deal with your request promptly. Private client galleries are not part of this website, are never published here, and are protected by the access details we send to each client.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
